スガ シカオ - Suga Shikao

For some reason, this song always relaxes me, and brings me in a positive state of mind.

Lyrics: (English Version)

August Serenade

If you disappeared
Or even if you turned into a cat or a caterpillar    (=^・ェ・^=)
At first I'd cry a lot
But maybe eventually it'd make a good story

Japanese Tourists in Croatia

Few days ago I had an exam in my Japanese language course. I received my little diploma and was very proud. On my way home I saw some Japanese tourists. They were speaking Japanese and I tried to understand what they were saying. All I could understand was: ここ まで (koko made). Google translates it as: so far.
They were driving in a tram (in Zagreb) at the time they were saying that and were pointing at a park (or the train station :)

名無しの権兵衛 - Anonymous

I just finished watching Japanese drama "Untouchable"
- アンタッチャブル.

The story is about a first rate reporter Narumi Ryoko who works for a third rate magazine. She writes stories about important events and untouchable people.
She lives with her brother who is a police officer.
She carries around a little black book with the names of the people she holds a grudge against. It is a serious drama with a comic element.
And the word that is very important throughout the story is:
名無しの権兵衛
ななしのごんべえ (nanashinogonbee) - Anonymous
The magazine is receiving tips from 名無しの権兵衛 on crimes that are committed. To find out more you'll have to watch it.
You can watch アンタッチャブル on Dramacrazy.net or a similar streaming site.

桜花見 in Croatia

0 コメント
This is a video of cherry blossoms or 桜花見 (sakura hanami) in Croatia, that I made with my iPhone and edited in iMovie.
There is no tradition of 桜花見 in Croatia, like there is in Japan. No one here is watching the flowers blossom, but I decided to try it out. This 花見 or flower viewing I did all by myself. :)

見る = みる (miru) - dictionary form of the verb "to see"
見ます = みます (mimasu) - formal present affirmative of the verb "to see"
見ません = みません (mimasen) - formal present negative of the verb "to see"
